Gateway Community & Technical College Dedicates Nursing Facility

































Gateway Community & Technical College held a dedication ceremony on Friday for the Allied Health Sciences and Nursing Center on its Edgewood Campus. Participants in the ceremony included Helen W. Mountjoy, cabinet secretary of the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, Michael B. McCall, Kentucky Community & Technical College System president, and G. Edward Hughes, Gateway Community & Technical College president. During the ceremony, a special presentation was made to the family of the late Henry E. Pogue IV. Pogue was instrumental in the establishment of the Edgewood Campus. Additionally, all ceremony attendees were given a gift card to the Seed-the-Future.com website; trees will be planted across the globe in honor of the event.

Community Celebrates LexTran ArtStop Dedication




























































Neighborhood residents, community leaders, and arts activists gathered at the corner of Third Street and Elm Tree Lane on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the completion of LexTran's new ArtStop bus shelter. Thanks to Art in Motion, LexTran, Gary Bibbs, and everyone else who made this project a huge success.
